Hi, i was looking at front brake pads and the mintex ones ive seen are mdb1540's can anyone confirm this as correct for my car before i buy them? its a 2000 2.0 16v estate facelift.

i always use ebc green or red stuff pads they don't muck the wheels up that much

Looks right for the Lucas caliper. IIRC, earlier 2.0s had a different setup but this isn't obvious from the Mintex application guide (I was looking at it yesterday).

Well ive bought a set of EBC Ultimax for £20. After doin abit of research they reckon there better then OEM versions and bed in almost instantly due to the compound they use. Will see what theyre like when they arrive.

Well my brakes arrived this morning along with my torx spanners for the manifold, so 2 jobs for me to do today!!
