Alright OOF People,

I have replaced the battery in my key fob and it locked the car when i was in the car but when i left the car i can not lock or unlock the car on the fob any ideas

Are you saying its a problem with range?

Receiver is in drivers footwell...

sounds like it needs a resync.

key in ignition, doors shut
turn key to 1 or 2, then press a button, doors should lock and unlock, job done

right tried that put the key in and turned it to one and 2 and the doors did not lock any ideas the key fob still does not work.

Take the key apart & check to see if the battery holder is loose. If it is, then the contacts to the PCB may be broken/ giving an intermittent power supply? :-/
