Hi all please help getting codes from paper clip test of
0100
0110
engine reving high and surging,
just done head gasket, cleaned all breathers ect, and car getting hot ie fan kicking in every 5 mins just took off expantion cap no pressure but coolant overflowed after a minuite or so just letting it cool down now, maybe just an air lock ???
any ideas lads

Those codes are:

P0100      Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage High
P0100      Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage Low
P0110      Intake Air Temperature Voltage High
P0110      Intake Air Temperature Voltage Low


Make sure you have tightened the inlet & exhaust manifolds to correct torque. Did you use new gaskets? Also did you clean the SAI valve? :y

Did you remember to reconnect the MAF and temperature sensors on the air intake duct?

Another thought - are the connectors on the MAF and temperature sensors the same? Have you got them swapped over?

All plugs in the right position,throttle housing cleaned.
water problem now solved i think :-[ air lock
