Carbon Trim for Facelift Interior
« on: 08 August 2010, 13:40:49 »

Does anyone know if there has ever been carbon trim parts made for the centre console surround, handbrake/gearlever surround or driver and passenger door bins on a 2000 W reg facelift with manual transmission. There seems to be several sources for pre facelift parts in carbon/carbon effect but NONE that i can find for facelifts???
If not then what would be the best way to do carbon effect trim on these less than ideal areas????

Why oh why was there never a V8 Omega????
Such a missed oppurtunity.
Look forward to the Cadillac ATS & ATS-V. Maybe a re-badged one will replace the Miggy as a RWD runner?

no, facelifts have silver dash effect. You'd have to get some carbon effect stick on stuff made up. Albatross did on his 3.2, looked very good!

Yep, all the plastic wood bits become silver or Platinum effect finish as Vx would like you to believe.

Where can i find these as i have tried eBay???? No luck.

Or would it be advisable to try spray painting them myself in Silver. Paint types and prep guides for plastics may be usefull???
