Alistair if you want some really nice genuine GM F/L mv6 wheels  have a look at my 2 topics in the parts for sale board on July 16,one has the spec other the pics. It's just not true these distort easily. These wheels are embossed "made in Germany" and I know are virtually bomb proof, I ran on them for nearly 3 Yrs with no trouble,PM me if your interested

blimey this forum moves quick. A couple of days and threads are way back.  Anyway, thanks for the info so far. Offset seems to be an issue using non-stock wheels (as most will be for FWD cars) so I'm left with spacers, wobble bolts, adapters and so forth.  None of which I really want to mess with.

Best option would be to find a set of wheels the right offset and get them (professionally) redrilled to 5x110mm or use a set of MV6 or similar rims.

I fancy something which are like a BBS split rim.

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to cars, changing anything that is not in the original Spec just de-values a car in my opinion.

I don't know who designed the Omega, likely many different people, but to me they really got it right and it works 100% for me.

But I guess others  like to tamper with their Omegas and thats fine also..

Ohhhh, if ONLY that were really true ::) ;D ;)
