coolant display

As above this is staying on on the lcd display i have checked the level and its fine,but some 1 told me that it could be something to do with a sensor in the bottle?is this expensive to replace/common fault?i am a novice on this car so any help would be appreciated cheers. :y

Sounds like someone has told you right there mate :y

New bottle with the sensor are about £30 from Vauxhall :y

Are they hard to fit do you know,as i`m not realy any good at doing any kind of mechanical work unless i have a step by step guide.

Before you go off & spend your hard earned, lever off the metal clip holding the expansion bottle to the inner wing, push the bottle backabout 1 inch until it is free. Carefully lift it & check that the sensor plug is still tightly fitted. If it is, i've just wasted your time, if it isn't you've just saved some dosh! Simples  ;D ;) :y
