If it's the same size ..... yes  :-/      but you want the tensioner too.

if you take out the 2.0, put the supra block in then, yes.

It could be worth contacting member andyc.

At least for smaller/lighter parts you may want, it could be the easiest option for you.

thanks for your consideration, and information, and for the record there is no Vauxhall / opel dealership present in my country.....the last of the opels were imported around 2000 and then nothing, no replacement parts...this is why i have to do what i do...parts co-relation to what is available....and get this..

in Trinidad, the omega is resold for less than what you would pay for a piece of crap Nissan Sunny!!!!
such a luxirous car and the few that got to Trinidad end up falling by the way side....mine is from 1996 and not a spec of rust on her...and doing now >>>46K km...Believe it?
could have gotten an Executive but it was doing 230K Km and had rear end collision damage.....it was repaired but the owner...well butuchered the interior for music installation, drilled holes all over the body & no rust protection..broken/interior components, fiberglass all over the leather upholestry...get the picture....
others in trinidad have gotten Nissan SR20 engines...and run like a piece of crap if you ask me...

imagine this...my car is more or less stock...and on the Hi ways i can see someone accelerating to pass me, when they are alongside me , i depress the accelerator and who ever it is remains in my mirrors...although one time one of those new Toyota corrola altis gave me a good run...had to use the sport mode...LOL

i have speed and luxury and i will strive to keep it this way..

hi all..

the 2.0L 16V XEV 1996 engine i have ...when i got the car it had a 169 tooth 0.984" width timing belt..

the tensioner and idler pulleys looked new as well as the belt...the previous owner could not verify what was changed /serviced..but some $$$ was spent the year before it was sold...
i know for sure the idle control on the throttle body was changed, the radiator plastic tanks were cracked/leaking,the leather around the gear lever was dry rotted, the hood lining fell>>causing pieces of sponge to be blown all over the car/and getting into her eyes>>>the reason she sold the car and the A/C system needed gas.

now the car is in much better shape to be driven daily, with a pioneer USB Deck and 5 1/4"  3 way slim line door speakers....Its a GL model car...fabric seats simple dash...etc

but nothing lasts forever...she is going to need repairs soon...Brake Pads, and i am catering to change the water pump when i go into the timing belt area...

i was looking into using the rear fog lights with the brake lights...any one has done this?..can i just add the bulbs onto the brake light wire or do i do this at the rear fog light switch? what is best for the cars electronics??

any ideas are welcome..
