Remote central locking
« on: 24 August 2010, 16:44:08 »

Hi all, just registered as I've just become an owner of my 3rd omega after a break of about 5 yrs since owning my previous 2.

I have a problem with the central locking in that when i operate it with the key fob either of the following happen;
1. all doors except drivers door lock / unlock
2. all doors except drivers door lock and then immediatley unlock.

when i use the central locking button on the drivers door while in the car everything locks / unlocks as expected.

I've been searching through the forum but can't find a solution, I seem to recall having this happen on a scenic and having to kleen up the motor for the drivers door lock.

Anyone have a solution to hand?

Cheers Dave.

 :DPlease ignore me, I've just found the post about replacing lazy door lock motors. that'll be it then! ;D

Drivers door solonoid needs replacing or repairing if you're brave. Try putting a wanted post in the test section and ask nicely if it can be moved to the parts section :y
