Hi I am looking for a replacement ABS ecu unit for my 2.5 CDX Auto Nov 2000 the Bosch N0. is 0 273 004 206
can anyone help please.

If you're going to the trouble of removing it you might aswell just get it refurbished by someone like BBA reman. With a years guarantee I think it's better than a 2nd hand one. A known good one could go faulty the next day. I got mine done, £128 inc carriage.

Got a second hand one for the Estate for under £50, fitted it 2 years ago - no problems to date.  Cheaper than refurb - choice up to op as to route to go!!

i changed mine at the same time as dbuggers and mine has gone again. It too was a secondhand unit.

Just waiting for a price inc PandP  (Spain)from BBA Reman. It is a two year guarantee you get from them.

BBA Reman couldnt repair my Ecu, still charged me £60 though  :'(. Had to source a second hand unit.

I know it's the choice of the op. But I would have thought a refurb would be the way to go. Why fit a 2nd hand one when it can become defective, as already reported? For the sake of an extra £80 I know what i would rather do.
