Fault codes not listed?
« on: 25 August 2010, 12:02:05 »

Removed coolant temp sensor lead - found couldn't get to sensor without a ramp so reconnected and now have these codes.

1-5 Coolant temperature sensor Voltage high
3-4 ??
9-3 ??

1-5 fair enough as I have a new sensor anyway but what are the other 2?

Yeah, connector for EGR very adjacent to where you've been doing battle, and the wiring shares a bit of conduit with the temp sensors' wiring IIRC.

Removing the scuttle may make progress with this job considerably easier, I think. Don't have ours (the missus's) here to have a look I'm afraid.

PS, fill in the Location bit of your profile, someone may be near enough and willing to lend a hand.  :)

PPS 93 may be cam-sensor related according to info in this link: http://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk/archive/index.php/t-179882.html  :-/

Again, you may have knocked the connector while reaching over the engine (just at the front of the black 'Ecotec' strip)

Knocked a wire off the EGR when messing with coolant temp sensor.

All codes seem to have cleared once put back on - immob code flagging was odd :)
