Fault message - Low Beam F1d/Vision
« on: 24 August 2010, 21:18:24 »

Hi guys

Got the above fault message on the Omega. I have been told it is likely to be the failure of the rear suspension levelling system which controls the hieght of the HiD headlights? if so is this a fairly straight forward to replace for a driveway mechanic? Also any ideas of the broadbrush price for this part?

Thanks in advance

Jack

self levelling rear suspension & HID leveling system are two completely seperate systems.
HID's have 2 level sensors, front near side wishbone & rear near side radius arm. Your message is saying that either one or  both these sensors are u/s or the motor in either/both head lights is goosed. You need to ask your car via a code reader.  :y  :y  :y

Or possibly one of the arms has popped off the sensor. Pic of front one here, centre of pic http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1219190177
