annoying rattle in car

Since i replaced the door lock motors on both front doors, both central locking pegs now rattle in the holes they stick out of, i am sure i read here someones fix for it but i can't for the life of me find it now.
Any ideas?

A few rounds of black electricians tape around the pins will solve your problem. jus put it low enough on the pin so it will not be visible.

Yes as above suggestion, the red insert pops out partially (if I remember) with a thin blade to remove pin.
