Seat heater
« on: 02 September 2010, 16:19:20 »

I went to use my seat heater for the first time this year and, within a minute or so of switching it onto Position 1, it got so hot I had to turn it off!

Any ideas what could cause this?

Sounds like a good place to start looking. Where is it?

Inside the part of the seat where the controls are, look for a burning smell first, then for blackened components, these (once identified) can be easily replaced.
