Door lock
« on: 03 September 2010, 21:27:59 »

Just picked up my new (to me) 2.2DTi Est. The only problem I can find so far is that the drivers door doesn't lock or unlock by remote, the rest of the car does.

Is this a common problem, easy to fix or am I destined to use the key from now on? :'(

Also the revs seem at little low on tick over, causing a slight vibration - is this normal?

Thanks

Right chaps. Hang on a second. Are you saying you bought the exact one in the link? That is what it looks like, it may well be the wrong one. You do need to know what number yours is and what nuymber the new one is.

I hope I haven't sent you on a wild goose chase. They all look the same basically, but the plugs are different on a face lift IIRC.

I'll try to find some pics of my old bits. Anyone been back through the how to section recently? I am sure I had some pics in there abouit 4 years ago.

Contact the seller and ask if it has this part number 90493702. That`s the facelift number and from what he`s selling (all preface bits) it`s gonna be doubtful :(
