will my coil pack be a ovel plug its a 3.0 mv6 prefacelift? :y

More than likely, but you gotta check, cos SOME are not.

Are you sure that it is the problem? If the dispack is gone, you may get a misfire on TWO cylinders. If its only occasionally, check plug leads on properly, they do sometimes come loose. Might save you a piggy job and a few quid?

its not sparking on the first sparkplug on the driver side bank .

so am i right in thinking if it was the coil it would go on two ?

Not necessarily.  My DISpack failed and I too lost spark at Numero Uno cylinder.

Your car being a 2000 *should* be the Oval Plug, but it's always best to check before ordering a new one.  Removing the plug is difficult but not impossible with everything still in-place.  :y

Incidentally, I paid £100 cash for a Genuine Bosch unit.

Got my coil pack for £35 and worked a treat!!
On the prefacelift there is also a coil pack that didn't get fitted to many cars but is different again from the standard two!!!!!
