Yes, I believe the 'Nightbreaker' bulbs are a popular retro fit on the Omega including Facelift model. IIRC the bulb is a H1? :y

Vast improvement on standard bulbs. H1 for dipped, H7 for mains

I used Osram Nightbreakers in my 2.2 and they improved things a great deal AFTER lenses cleaned and headlight aim fully sorted; the plastic adjusters inside the light were bust and helpfully sorted by welung666.

I would not use Nightbreakers as they fail quickly and over 15 or so sets I have used, 2 or 3 have been dud either in the pack or within a week.

Halfords Extreme Brilliance are very bright but patchy and of inconsistent quality; you can get an excellent pair then a rough pair as they seem to change manufacturers.

My choice of bulb is the Philips Extreme +90% sorry +80% not 90!  as these have no dark spots in the light pattern, last years and give supreme lighting.

Have tried them all over my 95 cars  ;D

Always go back to the Philips, although they are expensive and one of the types for the Omega is impossible to find H1 or H7, can't remember  :y

Hi

Thank you for your help. I can see Philips Extreme +80 but not +90%. These are the ones I can find http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=160

Hope you like them  :y

Don't touch the bulb glass when you fit them and be very careful removing the old bulbs from an Omega, as it is very easy to break the headlight adjusters inside the headlights when trying to pull the wiring connectors off, causing loads of grief.  Make sure you do not knock the Euro pattern converter lever either-check light pattern after fitting.

Good luck  :y

Omega with linse-light is perfect for change to xenon. It looks like orginal omega with xenon and gives a good light.

These are a great improvement, thanks. Only problem is that the new bulbs make my parking bulbs look yellow.

Can anyone help with the Philips x-treme number for parking bulbs?
