cruise control cable

need to change cable does anyone no how much they are.would 1 from scrappy do the job.is it easy to fit.thanks ian

I would consider a scrappy for that part I think. Iirc it runs off the same mounting point as the throttle cable, meaning a fiddle with the ball joint clip which is not obvious first time you do it, it clip around the throttle cable swings out and remove from the hole, should come off then. Not sure on the cruise box end, it's been a while.

look for one from a breaker. The new price is eye watering.

Hi i got mine from a local scrappy paid £2 for it the end to the control box twists around about a quarter turn then pull it up then unclip the cable from the tape like piece inside i changed mine in about 5 min :y :y

Thanks for help,outer sheving had snapped,tapped it up just 2 c if it worked,and hey pressdo it has,been bham and back this wend and cruise runnin great,lucky hey thanks for your reply ianc :) ;D ;D :)
