Do you mean mayo in the filler neck or mayo in the oil in the sump ? If its in the filler neck its just a characteristic. A result of a long filler neck which means that the oil mist which gathers there is relatively cool and combines with the moisture and forms into a "mayo" type substance, It will be apparent if the car is being used for short journeys, usually.
Its nothing to worry about. just change the oil regularily (max. of 5000 miles) and try to give it a good motorway blast when you can.

A bit of spend under the filler cap is perfectly normal for a car which doesn't travel long distances.  I've seen motorway cruisers in cold winters still suffer with spend.

Only really worry if you have water which looks like oil, and oil which looks like water.

Despite common misconception, the V6 HG is extremely rugged.

Hi David, you will get the mayo when the car is used for short journeys but it will clear when the car is driven for longer periods.
