I had another look at the pics after reading his description..Brand new, it might just be the pictures but a couple of those rims look very pitted...... :-/

Maybe worth a punt at £199 but I am not sure I would buy without seeing them, just my opinion.. :)

Looks like water rather than pitting - just been washed? I would still look before you buy, just think how annoyed she would be if you bought 5 lemons!  ;) Doesn't bear thinking about, I like my wotsits where they are.  ;) ;D

just emailed him the pitting is water drops and hes thrown the tyres on to sell them he`s a tyre fitter (so he says !!)

They are clean, grant you that, but they are not new, in my opinion.

Make sure you view before satisfying yourself as to their 'newness' and part with cash accordingly....  ;)

I thought that asked in email he said it was a typo they are all 17`s and they have never been fitted to a car but i`m torn as ive got my 19`s but he said he buys alloys so could do me a deal i wonder if my missis would notice lol

The wheels have been very well looked after, and are indeed very clean.  The water marks are water marks, not pitting.  My monitor shows this quite clearly.  These wheels are NOT new, and have been used on the road.  A Puncture was unrepairable on one of the Conti 3's and the closest match the owner could find was a part-worn SC.  The mismatch on size is an error - they are all 17" wheels (I should bloody hope).

£200 worth a punt IF you like the style of wheel.

Personally, I'd pay £30 a wheel, and he can keep the 5th.

Just been and had a look at these wheels they are in mint condition defo never been on a car the bloke even let me jack up my car and try one on . Stil undecided cause i like my 19`s plus i know if i buy these her indoors will kill me either that or i`ll become a kerb magnet !!! :D
