« on: 09 October 2010, 19:55:50 »

In no particular order...  ...

Rear Discs & pads, possibly also front.

Something like wishbones and or drop links

cam cover gaskets and O rings.

Cam belt & water pump,.

NCDC 2013 head unit front panel replaced.

OR , swapped out for 2015 and telematics..

right hand rear light bulb on GID

be quite nice to have the colour screen,  but not that worried,..

but damn it's a thing of beauty...

Daz, Pete, and anyone else,    if we can work something out ASAP for the major bits, i'd be extremely grateful.....      not only will i Pay, I'll cook/....     ask around....  it's worth it...

Got any solder tags Max?

If so, you can fix the 2013 front panel

Max, don't forget the 0420 and 0430 codes. The emissions light isn't on yet, but eventually you'll want to move the sensors.

Rear Discs & pads, possibly also front.
Are the actual discs shot? If its just the pads, its a pretty quick job.  If discs need doing, or handbrake needs adjusting, get a load of penetrating oil on the bolts that hold the heatshields to bottom of car a few times before you attempt it.  Or do what I reckon the dealer did to mine - snap all the bolts, rip off heatshields, and never refit  >:(

You need to jack up and look for play. What are symptoms, just noise?

Whats wrong? Some idiot tried holding the facia to pull radio out? That snaps all the weak, brittle clips.

right hand rear light bulb on GID
Change all 3 at same time, around £1 each :o from dealer

yeah Jaimee, the NCDC seems to be that, the CD carrier is Jammed....   i presume they knackered the front panel trying to get it out.

the suspension at the front is knocking....    over small bumps and that, and the thing does not seem as stable and "planted" on the road as I'd expect.

there's also some after market adjustable load levelling non std , Monroe  Shocks on the thing...   with a pressure gauge  and air valve in the driver side rear quarter cubby hole by the fuel filler servo.

trying to find a manual for them online....  but not had much luck yet....

That reminds me!  ::)

Do you have a CPC / Maplins / RS Components number for the right ones?

Knocking from suspension more likely to be anti-roll-bar drop links than bushes, IMHO, but worth checking it all over anyway.

Wandering could be down to poor alignment (is it wearing inner edges of front tyres?) or just rubbish tyres.
