Wishbone bolts
« on: 16 October 2010, 22:00:32 »

I have an Omega 2.5 V6 facelift

Does anybody know the size and dimensions of the 2 wishbone bush bolts please, I think they both may be different sizes.

The 2 rear bushes not the one that holds the ball joint in

They are different both front bushes (horizontal bolts) are longer than the rear (vertical bolts). What is wrong with your bolts?

My mate dropped the rear (Vertical bolt) into my subframe.

Desperate to get a new one as my car is off the road.

I seem to make a habit of dropping one of the rear bolts inside the subframe each time I change my wishbones  ::)

With a bit of fishing around I have always managed to get the thing out again.

Yes, It is always possible to fish them out. Try wire, magnet, etc. Far quicker than waiting for one to be posted.  ::)

Stuff a rag in there  first.

But a magnet on a stick is what you need, the bolt will rattle around in there otherwise.
