A short story about fuel pump.
A few day's ago changed my pump
Checked the new one  before installing worked fine.
After replacing seems to be worse starting the engine.
Checked power, relay, etc all OK.
Bought a new fuel filter, and before changing try to see fuel pressure, it was weak.
So open the tank again to get to the pump.
By chance noticed a small crank at the rubber hose were it has a kneecap.
Probably caused when opened to replace the pump
Changed the hose and the car is perfect.

So since the relays are good, gonna replace crankshaft sensor. If this does not work car is getting towed to a shop. To answer Kevins question yes the engine light is blinking while trying to start. Sorry I have been on the job so I have not been able to check the forum for a while.

In that case, it's an immobiliser issue. Check you still have an immobiliser chip attached to the horseshoe part of the key and it hasn't come loose. :y

Still no codes when you paperclip it? Immobiliser problem should store a code, I believe. :-/

if your ecu light is flashing, after checking the keys are ok, try taking off the cowl round the ignition barell.

See if the key reader is damaged or the connection is loose. failing that its  a case of finding a matching ecu/transponder/reader combo.
