If i get the switches to fit in where the blanks are (TC) etc.. I know they wont work but would they light up ? I have looked behind the blanks and the metal connections are there.

I would have thought so but you would probably need the relavant blub/housing? i take it you dont like them being blank?

naa i hate it looking blank I know they wont work but at least it will look full if you know what i mean

yes they will light up with the sidelights on i just put a alarm button in my ex plod and that lights up

just make sure whatever switches you get have working bulbs, and there are 3 types of buttons for the pre/minifacelifts

1 is smooth black plastic
2nd is textured black plastic
3rd is ruber feel and generally nasty feeling, rubber often wwears off making the switch look white.

You`re only missing two switches. TC not feasible on a 4-pot. Rear blind not doable on an estate.

Forgot about that one :-[. Switch will illuminate but should imagine it`s a fair bit of mucking about to get the tailgate to actuate. Not even sure whether it`s doable :-/

Thanks for that i think i will just get the switches to fill the gaps and not worry about getting them to do the jobs they are ment for  :y
