Slow leak on tyres
« on: 26 October 2010, 16:33:02 »

I have a slow leak from the bead on the inner face on two tyres, the pressures drop to 20 psi over a couple of weeks. Anyone know of a diy fix rather than taking them to a tyre fitter? The tyres have a little life in them yet and I don't want to waste money getting the leaks sorted if I am going to replace them in a couple of months. I have heard of fitters using a black bead sealant if it looks like a bead may leak when they are fitting a replacement tyre.  :y

had the same problem with rear tyres after replacing them at tyreland, took it back over 10 times till they sorted it and was with bead sealer, i will never go to tyreland again!
