It's just a clip that holds it in.

You loosened the reflector?  :-/ Does that mean you've broken the plastic adjuster? If your reflector is now loose & swivels up & down easily, I would think you have  :(

Search for ally adjuster replacement.

Each side of the clip is hooked under a hook either side of the lamp/bulb.

not an Omega & not quite the same, but the idea is the same.  :y

hi Andy thats what the H1 bulb looks like with the spring clip comes out easy. The main beam H7 bulb does not have that spring clip look just like a circular clip os some kind but I cant see how it comes of.

Sorry. Wrong car  then. ;D Don't they just pull out, the clip bit being part of the headlamp itself, Mr Haynes says to 'Carefully press down the rear of the bulb, until it releases from its retaining clips'

This is the ordinary main beam lamp you want to remove?
You're not sticking your tongue out far enough then. Just been out to the car, removed & refitted within a minute. As Mr Haynes says, push downward at the back, I left it plugged in, and it unclips quite easily.  :y :y :y
