cambelt change / 30mm ring spanner

 hi all, can anyone tell me can any 30mm offset ring spanner be used on tensioner or does it have to be specialist one llike the sealey vs 1301?

I have always used my trusty Bahco adjustable (open ended) spanner.

There is very little force required, the important thing is that you need space to loosen/tighten the centre fixing bolt without taking the spanner off.

Have used a large adjustable before by poking the ends of the jaws in the recess, as said, very little force is needed to adjust and hold it still while doing up the bolt. But obviously the more appropriate the tool the easier the job. Hth
