Starting prob????
« on: 02 November 2010, 10:35:22 »

Folowing on from my mystery starting probs of yesterday I have refitted the old crank sensor which was actually working before I replaced it but still no start? I have a new one on it's way but as there are no codes stored at all I am wondering if something else could be the culprit. The crank sensor was contaminated with oil which does not look good to me  :(

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this???? Could really do with some pointers please

I'm too lazy to go and find any other threads...
Have you done the basics and checked for fuel and spark delivery? Is the timing all good?

Wont start on either gas or petrol so pretty much rules out fuel delivery being the problem, timing is dead on.

hoping it's the crank sensor!! otherwise i'm foxed!
