Supposedly sealed for life, but in reality needs doing every 70-80k

I believe there is a guide in Maintenence Guides, but basically its taking off the autobox sumps.

Hi, I have the same car. I've had so much trouble with limp mode etc but sorted it by buying a code reader and understanding the problem. In short the gearbox is sealed but I drained it of oil from the drain plug 13 mm spanner. I then undone the sump gave it all clean up. But I found you cannot top up all in one go. I get as much oil as I can in, without it all pouring out again. I then tighten up the plug start the engine slowly drive half a mile and repeat the process until I match the oil volume Ive taken out. However if you have a preasured pump this may work better. That's how I changed my gearbox oil, and I get smoother changes now.

Here`s how to check level correctly once you`ve drained it and re-filled. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1152783586
