breathers
« on: 26 November 2010, 14:02:15 »

Afternoon. Need some advise please. I had my breathers cleaned out and the thing at the top? Plenmun I think you guys call it. This was done because i had oil coming out of the pipes at the front. This worked for about 3 weeks i have now notice oil coming out again. My question is has anybody got any ideas of why and how do i fix it.
cheers

Which pipes do you mean? The two large ones(about 2 and a half inch in diameter from the throttle body or smaller ones to the side of the throttle body?

Did the person cleaning the breathers follow the guide in the maintenance section? For example cleaning the tiny hole on the box on the left of the engine looking from front to back of car?

You mean the extension piece to the front of the ECOTEC strip on top of the plenum?

They will weep if the throttle bodies weren't removed and the breathers cleaned where they enter the main throttles.
