Abs moody

When ever im on the motorway or dual carrigeway as soon as ive been over fifty for a couple of min my abs light comes on and the abs shuts off i only then get my abs back when ive slowed down to b road speeds for twenty min or so anyone ever had this prob before? :-?

had it every time it was wet and the plug rubber had gone on the wire into the abs unit and wire had been caught on somting and was arking, would check wires and plug..
oh and also check the sensors on the wheels as had a lot of muck on rear reader cog's giving false reading.
