why cant folk be honest when they describe an omega.Ive been to look@ 3 more since monday 1, crashed damaged 2, £300 rise in the cars price from when i put the phone down to actually seeing the car 3,had been clocked [well 99.9 per cent sure ] nah 1000 per cent sure

If there is a shilling to be turned, most will give it a try.  Omega is one of those cars that are perhaps approaching the best time to buy so sellers try even harder to get their pound (or two) of flesh....

Keep looking.  Bargains are outhere (somewhere.....)   :y

i will, but its the way they try it on that bugs me .one chap said the car was mint no accidents the body works a1.so iam looking through the wallet that all the manuals are kept in and a receipt falls out for just under £2500 from an accident repair centre. They must see my walking stick an think my brains goosed and not my body  lol

My ebay purchase in September to replace our older one, not quite as described but took time to show. Lovely condition inc under the bonnet etc. Even my local garage said how clean and tidy it is. Mechanical / Electrical problems soon showed and it is still parked on the drive. Though I have not looked at it since well before Christmas.

you will find one if you keep looking, my 1997 elite estate came off ebay 9mths ago 52k with history and prev MOTs, i paid a lot of money for it but everything works as it should . such cars are out there, im in the "trade" and we do "bargins" from time to time. i could have had a 73k 2.5 cd facelift  y reg 1 company owner at the same time for £1400! seek and you will find! :y

Don't give up. I gave £950 for mine 18 months ago & got 6months tax from a small dealer. All i spent was cam kit & servicing. No other probs.
   Keep at it, you 'll find the right one. Be patient & choosey, it pays off in the end. Best of luck. :y

thanks for the encouragement  [smiley=thumbsup.gif].The wife thinks iam soft in the head for looking so hard,and cant understand why i dont buy the first car i see [not an omega you understand just a car]

sounds ideal,but your to far for me to get to.
ive no car from tomorrow a.m motability want their car back
