Sort of a whirring noise as I get faster
« on: 12 December 2010, 09:59:50 »

Hi chaps, during the snow period, I lost control of my 2.2 cd and whacked a curb side ways. The actual bang was really loud as I hit the Kerb with 2 wheels.

Used it for the first time yesterday, had music on etc thought everything was fine but as I was approaching the motorway and getting faster the whirring noise got louder and I feel the wheel pulling to the left, which is the side that got whacked.

I was thinking the bearing. I'm gonna have a look in a minute any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

If the steering is pulling you to the left my guess would be wheel alignment knocked out or steering idler.

If the noise is increasing with speed are you sure you haven,t dislodged a wing liner and it is rubbing on the wheel.
