3.2 Alternator Removal .. please help

Looks like the Alternator on my 3.2 Omega has died.

Ive looked at MarksDTM guide how to repair but cant find how to remove alternator / slacken belt etc on here.

Can anyone tell me how to do this please////

15mm (I think) on tensioner nut, turn clockwise to relieve tension then it`s

Multiram setup out.

Aux belt off.

Disconnect battery

Remove the two securing bolts (one end is torx, the other end hex)

swing the alternator out and disconnect the two rear electrical connections.

Hi,
When you do get the alternator off, I am sure that with car being 3.2 L you will find a different type alternator to the version described in Marks DTM guide.

I expect you to find a Bosch XA 120 which will need regulator BR14-T3-V14
Basic idea is all fairly similar,but fitting regulator is not same.

Only place I know of where you can get regulator is Wood Auto. About £40.00 I think.
