hiya, i asked this question last year but never really got it sorted, but its getting very cold now so need to keep my rear passengers warm.
in the front of the car the heater works fine and gets warm but it blows cold air in the rear of the cabin, i remember doing some kind of reset to the heater control but that didn't work.
i`d be thankful with some help it sorting this .

I'll admit to not being in the back of many Omega's, but all the ones I have been in, the rear vent has never got warm.

Mine does, although, I have never been in the back either, but my mrs wouldn't put up with cold air in the back.
I don't know for sure but I would think there has to be a flap somewhere that directs the flow of hot air through the centre console, making me think it is a similiar problem to when the passenger side only, gets cold air. This is caused by the linkage at the blower coming adrift.

Leading on from that, you will find a straight steel actuating rod that controls the rear passenger heat flap coming from the middle of the Centre Console. This pushes into a locating hole at the rear of the same cam housing that controls the front heat flaps as described in the link above. HTH

I'm sorry for being a bit dense on the technical front, but I can't find the steel actuating rod despite having been upside down in the footwell for an hour and trying to access the middle of the centre console. Any tips?

back flush and right flush the heater rad with pressure washer, if there is pressure on back flush there is your fault,,,only other way is take out the pipes and ends and put boiled water in the pipes one will do then when it starts to come out other side, then put a cheap bottle off white vinegar in, support the pipes up in air and leave for an hour or so. then re flush may take 2 or 3 gose at it but when there is no back pressure it should heat the rear. and be better on front as well. and get hot quicker about 1-3minutes. if bottom of the rad is blocked that area dose not heat up as good and will only feel the heat in rear when you are standing parked.
