they are available on ebay, make sure you get the ones with the chips if you want them programmed (tech 2 session to do this) however getting the keys laser cut is proving to be a bit of a hassle, as less and less places do them now.

timpsons or a good locksmiths may offer the service tho, but they dont really like copying used keys.

all in all still works out cheaper than getting vaux dealer to get you keys.

it will be the shoehorn type you need, they fit both the 3 button fob and the 2 button fob, the older fobs were seperate from the key body.

so you will be safe enough.

more importantly they have 105 on them. A similar aged Astra also has a 'shoe horn' shaped plastic bit, but the blade is nothing like an Omegas.  ;) ;) ;)

105 is correct blade type.

I tend to bulk buy them, so get them cheaper.  Some cutters wont cut if they don't supply blanks. Doesn't need laser cut - my man uses a normal grinder

it might not need a laser cutter, but a 'normal' key cutter won't cut an Omega key. An Omega's key is cut using a machine more like a miller, which most key cutters don't have.  ;)

but if you look at the side of your key (ie not the edge like on a 'normal' key), you can see that the 'drill' is flat bottomed .... like a milling cutter.  :y

well its supposed to be, but the last 2 keys i got done look like they were used with a tapered drill bit, not altogether sure it was the correct machine for the job, but they work none the less.

I usppose if you got a good template made from a working key you could use a dremel to cut your own.

Guy who cut mine had knocked his machine up out of an old bench grinder and assorted bracketry. Had several variations on the same theme on benches all round the shop. So needles to say not laser cut, whatever that is? Is laser cut really needed for any manufacturer?  :-?
