My leather heated drivers seat does not work,is there any tests to be done on it to check it?

Its a common one and its more than likely the heated element thats kaput, the driverside goes first because the seat gets more wear

check the passenger and rear seats, if they work, its the element thats gone. If all of the are fubared, then check fuses  Not exactly easy to replace element, in fact its a pig. Has to be cut out and new one stitched in, its easier just to get a new seat with a working one!

Thanks for the info.Thats why i cannot find any on Ebay,i will keep looking for a grey leather drivers seat.

I've got one ........................................ but the heated seat doesn't work on that either

must be common fault on grey leather seats - mine almost set my back on fire the other week - haven't chanced switching it on since

Also noted that when they start to burn parts of the anatomy they die soon afterwards.
