I have the same problem. How do you drain the oil from the well ?

Later I will change the cam cover gaskets.

Several options really:-

  • Lots of kitchen towel
  • A syringe with a short length of hose attached
  • A pippette

Are the 3 wells on the same side connected to each other ?
Or do I have to drain each plug hole ?

Be-jesus  :o

I turned the car around earlier so the other half cud go out shopping and just been and checked the water tank  :o, had to put 1/2 ltr of water in to bring it to correct amount  :-?
Only filled it up yesterday  :o
Had a quick look underneath n cudn't see any puddles  >:(

At this rate i'm gonna need to tow a water bowser around with me !!!! lol

Sorry. Shouldn't laugh. I have a Rover V8 engine that boils water quicker than my kettle, so I feel your pain.
