Elite Front Bumper
« on: 15 November 2010, 11:45:01 »

Have messed up the front bumper (large plastic outer Bit) on my Omega Elite 1999 3.0 Litre Estate.

Question if I can get second hand one, which models fit . I believe its mini facelift but I'm not totally sure. Also the car is silver were there many dfferent silvers at the time?

Regards

Dave

I have an Elite bumper in bit's , post a pic of the damage and I will see if a section of mine would help. Paint code is on the drivers b post , should be Z147 or Z157

Need to renew this thread. Sorry I didn't reply to you but some other event became lifes priority.  I still havn't sorted this bumper. I'm not totally sure what is classed as a complete bumper, and what I'd expect the used car parts merchants to send me. Some of them have said they have suitable parts.

Is it fairly clear what bumper is fitted to my car which is I believe an in between model, is it semi face lift?  My paint code is Z147, were there only 2 silver variants?  I will post a picture when I find out how.  From looking at the bumper all of the seperate pieces are damaged in one way or another. I could possibly do some repair with fibre glass out of site, but I think if I could get a complete bumper it would be easiest.

from what i am lead to believe is that you can fit any bumper to front excluding facelift , if you want to fit a facelift bumper (which will fit) you will have to change headlights and bonnet/grill as they are different between pre facelift/ mini facelift (yours) and facelift  :y

Hi Dave,

If it's a 99 im certain it's a mini facelift, the one I have is Z147 but I need most of it to go onto mine after a wee slidey moment in the snow ;D

Pop a pic up of the damage on yours as I may the bit you need spare or know which local scrappy has it.
