hall sensor?voltage high

hi all i have a 3.0 v6 elite and out of the blue its running rough and ive got fault code 94 hall sensor voltage high. is this due to a faulty sensor and could this cause the car to run like it is?any ideas whould be very helpful many thanks

did it run funny first then go or did it run normal the the eml come on and go ruff.
