Got this fancy Xbox 360 with hard drive and everything, but when play Halo3 in 2 person campaign mode it doesn't save your progress? What's the deal? The game interface is a PITA compared to Halo2.

Don't know have'nt even played Halo 3 yet still sitting in the box. Just to back and start again , your obviously not very good at it

my lad says it saves at end of level or checkpiont reached !! he also says try switching auto save on in options and press pause and see if there is a option to save bud !!

Correct, there are checkpoints.

Every so often it will say "Checkpoint reached"

Its usually after the end of a section or bit of action... you can't save it at a specific point.

have to say its a fantastic game.... i love the bit where you drive the tanks

There is in solo game mode, but not if 2 players? Just has Exit Game. I'll see if there is an auto-save in the options. Cheers.

The first bit on Earth is great, after that it gets weaker and weaker although some parts are still really good. The ending is completely pathetic. Most pointless driving challenge ever, after a ridiculously easy last fight. Feels like it needed 6-12 months more development to really be great.
