Paperclip Codes ??
« on: 22 January 2011, 19:34:29 »

I have just completed Paperclip codes test....codes 144 145......Immoboliser N0 signal Immoboliser Wrong signal......should I be worried ? What is causing these codes. I also had code 19...I assume this to be Crankshaft sensor needing replacement. Appreciate any comments and feedback.  Thanks

yes, your crank sensor wants replacing (urgently)

ignore the immoblser codes assuming your car starts and runs  :y
they will be historical as they never auto delete

Much as I'm sure Daz would love a trip to your beautiful country .... changing the crank sensor is a fairly simple task that I'm sure you could easily do your self ... in less than an hour !!!

Guide is here and it really is a simple as it says ..

I'm sure the Vader would enjoy Sweden, but the car is in England !. I normally get back once a month for a long week-end break. I'll look at the guide..thanks..but I also need the Gearbox fluid and filter changed etc so I will probably combine everything that needs doing and let the Vader loose and watch the artist at work :-)
