SO the fact that LPG cars have a cleaner exhaust htan any other car doesn't matter?

Anyway heating gas - and using in cars is greener than flareing

It does matter to you and me and Joe public but the goverment wont give a toss when it comes to increasing the price.

ever since i completed my install it has been creeping up.....in 2 months it has gone up 5ppl

the government will do anything to screw the general public over and ro them of money

Unfortunatly that will be the case, the goverment will get around it one way or another...........it will keep going up.

The last 2 revolts did not do Jack sh"t, ie poll tax and the fuel protests a few years ago, council tax is still the same just a different name and the fuel went up regardless of the protests......so if everyone protests about the LPG, which i doubt very much, it will still go up.
Their plan is to replace UK citizens with Eastern Europeans. Anyone that cares what is happening leaves, and the new people just appreciate whatever they can get.

Ive been using LPG now for about nearly 3 years........i originally was paying 29/30ppl for it........now its 44ppl........thats an increase!!!  >:(

I keep getting letters explaining the price increase......coz its the price of crude oil.......which is b*ll"cks really.......LPG is the by product of converting the crude oil to petrol.......which years ago the oil companies used to burn off.......do you remember seeing the big flame as you went past an oil refinery........that was them burning off the LPG to get rid off it........now they bottle it and sell it......so how come it costs em more.....its still a by product....they happen to produce  >:(

Sadly, there is a lot of truth in this.

LPG may well go up - but I've already made back the cost of my conversion in fuel savings - so any additional savings are a bonus ;)

ive now done 6000 miles since my conversion and on the whole it has been running on gas.

another 6000 and it will be paid for, so long as gas gones no higher than 3/4 the cost of petrol i am still saving.

Slightly offtopic questions .....  :)

EP .. any news of your conversion plans in Cardiff ??

TD ... what do you know about "Dieselec" in Swindon (if anything :)  )??  I saw a miggy parked at Mannington today with a "This car runs on LPG" advert all down the side ...
