Handles like a greasy pig?
« on: 27 January 2011, 18:37:44 »

Why does my 1999 2.5 V6 cdx feel like a 70s Cadillac to drive.........just had the front shocks done, all was great for 10 days then all the wallowing about started again! had the wheel alignment done at the same time as the shocks and now it pulls to the left?
I would love to take my car to ONE place, let them loose on it, pay them a fair price and have my Omega purring along....any recommendations? I am in Basingstoke.

You could try Wheels In Motion  who are highly praised on here for sorting Omega tracking, balance, etc. ;)

Wheels in Motion in Chesham :y An Omega Specialist well known & recommended here. You get a discounted price at the main Chesham Place if you mention you are an OOF member when booking  :y

If you go to one o WIM's "offshoots" you'll get good sevice as the procedure is checked by WIM electronically .. but you WON'T get the OOF discount .. that only applies at Chesham  :)

WIM will sort it for you. But if its that bad I would suggest going to a mechanic and ask them to look at the wishbone bushes, they can cause all sorts of wierdness if knackered. If you need them to be replaced you'll need the geo set up again anyway so best to check before going to WIM if you want to save a few quid.
