Slight oil leak
« on: 06 February 2011, 09:10:24 »

Noticed a patch of oil on the ground when I moved the car yesterday. Looked first thing this morning and the oil patch is under the area of the near side of the radiator. Is there any oil related pipe work, cooler in this area. Thanks.

If yours is an auto there is a feed from the autobox to the radiator that is the ATF oil cooler ...

But remember... oil travels along things so it could be a leak at the back running along a pipe before dripping to the floor. Best bet is a really good look with a torch and mirror.

I thought the autobox coolant pipes were on the drivers side :-/

My money would be on the power steering pump and pipes but the A/C system also has oil in it. As Entwood says you do need to get under there and have a good look.
