Fault code

Just managed to have fault code read on my estate P1781 has anyone an idea what it means. :(

That code`s not applicable to the 2.2. Possible dodgy cam sensor

thanks for that. the guy that read it gave me that one have a fault with the gear box he said it may be a problem with the engine ecu communicating with the auto box ecu any ideas

As said......not applicable to the 2.2. Any symptoms with engine or box?

Problem with auto box changes up fine to third then engine revs  but box is in neutral ease foot off and the gear goes in but with a jolt, sometimes changes as normal then again it may go into limp mode.

Would have a check of your ATF level and as Rob said maybe dodgy cam sensor well known on the 2.2 for throwing up random codes :y
