Rear springs top and bottom?
« on: 03 March 2011, 00:53:02 »

I noticed the picture of the rear springs in the maintenance section has an arrow showing the top of the spring, the springs I have had no markings on them, how can I tell what is the top? I noticed one end seems flatter than the other if that makes any sense
TIA

Ime they are symetrical, same top or bottom. So matters not, although point the spring end to the rear to stop any possible whistling.

Sounds like its worth checking the parts are correct...?

The springs are for an omega, it even says so on the box, they are almost the same both ends, its just that the end of the spring is not finished off as well, doubt that matters. What do you mean by whistling? It can make a noise?
