Manual conversion

Could someone help me out, I have done a search for the post on manual conversion but not found it, could someone point me in the right direction please. Also what is involved in doing the conversion?

You'll then need to do a internet search for "How to grow an Extra Leg" ...

as the correct formula is :

No of legs = no of pedals  - System Operative

If

No of pedals > no of legs - System failure.

Lol

Got the auto fly wheel off today.
Then fitted the spigot bush and bearing.
Also fitted the manual fly wheel and clutch assembly.
And removed both down pipe/cats ready to fit the manual gearbox...
Getting there now tho

I will try and keep up dating I don't come on here much these days  :y

Another little up date,I have now decided to fit my new 3.2 manifolds whilst the gearbox and cat pipes are out,plus the plenum is out already...

May aswell do it now  :y

I just have a quick question regarding the Ignition timing Retard... I know that to some of you this will be common knowledge........

Ignition Timing Retard
Unplug the engine ECU and remove the connector from its hood (1 screw)
Locate the Bk/R wire on pin 42, cut off as far from pin 42 as possible (can do this further up the loom if preferred) then solder to one of the thin Brown wires and tape joint

Can someone let me know why this has to be done? Is it because the ignition setup is slightly different from the auto to manual setup?

Technically, the correct way is to reprogram the engine ECU, the ABS ECU and the MID.

There is an ignition retard to reduce power for gear changes.
