2.5v6 omega estate auto petrol

can anyone help... i have done the paperclip test on my car.. codes i am getting are 73 and 74...
thought this was because of air flow sensor, but the car is misfiring, and been told that would not cause that.. please help

How does it run with the MAF disconnected?

Also, you sure its a 2.6 and not a 2.5 ;)

well spotted that man... 2.5 v6... ran just the same disconnected. garage today say its spark plug lead or coil pack... they think lead, does this sound right
