carnt get box back on

hi all ive swapped the gearbox in my elite and now i just carnt get it to go back on! it wont mate up flush and ive got some bolts and started off but dont want to use these to pull the box and engine together as i dont want to damage anything! also the torque converter and fly wheel ar stuck against each other is this how the are supposed to be ive got a bout 1 gap to go all round the bell housing

I am assuming that you removed the torque conveter with the gearbox ,if the tc was left on the engine you will almost certainly damage it trying to fit the g/box

i removed the torque converter with the box. after sliding the box back off it turned out the torque converter was back enough its now on thank god definatly isnt a one man job must remember for next time ::)
