When you move from P to D the light remains on P, I have swapped the PRND321 for one that I know works, still have the same problem, any ideas?

its this link http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1267956397 i know it says for cleaning but it also shows you how get the switch in he right position for refitting its a right pain if you dont get it in the right place i was having trouble getting into park when i fitted a gearbox the other week and it was because the selector switch was marginally out of place :y

The switch tells the gearbox ECU what you have selected.

The ECU turns the lights on.
